I have a deep love of all things literacy, and enjoy reading to the children daily, to help instill a love of reading in my students. I have my B.S. in Early Childhood Education.  When I am not at school, I am often baking treats, enjoying Harry Potter books and movies, or building with Legos! I also enjoy spending time with my family and friends.

Few things in life are as rewarding as watching a child experience something for the first time, or helping them to grow and develop new skills. Working with children at GLCP, I am constantly challenged to see things from new perspectives - my students help me grow and learn too! When I am not in my classroom, you will probably find me on a mountain :)

Starting as a sub, then an assistant, to now being the lead teacher in our Preschool 2 room, I truly feel I have found my calling in Early Childhood Education. It is a privilege being able to help shape young minds. Outside of the classroom, I am a mother of two, a choreographer, and occasionally still a gymnastics teacher. I also love crystals and reading tarot cards.

I have been at GLCP since before earning my degree in Early Education. I have grown as a teacher, and found a new love for STEM in Early Education classrooms. I am continuing to learn as much as I can to bring to GLCP! When I am not in my classroom, I also enjoy hiking with my friends and finding new places to explore.

I am the child magnet in my family! This is what led me to the path of getting my degree in Early Childhood Education. I love watching our GLCP students grow in so many different ways. When I’m not at GLC, I’m either studying or hanging out with the people I love most. I also enjoy walking my new puppy!
